Uniform Requirements

All Traditional martial arts schools, both Eastern and Western, have a required training uniform. Students will be required to obtain the necessary clothing and protective equipment.  

• Classical fencing & historical rapier students should acquire white fencing jackets, charcoal gray pants/skirts, black socks, black shoes (without high heels) and white (or natural) colored gloves.
• Pugilists should substitute white fencing jackets for white shirts and they do not need gloves.
• Backsword & I.33 students can substitute white fencing jackets for long sleeved white shirts and leather jerkins.   

Gloves:

Leather Gardening gloves with cuffs can be found at many gardening supply centers.  

Charcoal Grey Pants/Knickers/Skirts

You can either find something that fits you at a store, or have something custom made. We post resources for this later. 

Black Stockings:

(at least knee or thigh high)
